Go Snorkeling on Ko Chang: the number 1 recommended day trip.

The emerald tinted clear seas around Koh Chang island itself offer a quite few nice snorkeling sites, but they can't really compete to the famous dive- and snorkel areas in the Koh Rang national marine park area, south of Koh Chang. Around Koh Rang, Koh Thang Lang, Koh Yak, Koh Nok and Koh Wai there is still an abundance of magnificent live corals and a very varied underwater world with many colorful fish and other sea life, making it THE best spot to snorkel in the east of Thailand, if not there entire country. Although a half day snorkel trip to these outer islands is also available, we highly recommend not to rush it and take the full day trip so you will have plenty of time to see all the underwater beauty, but also spend a little while on the truly tropical white sand beaches where we will stop for our taste lunch. Some of these islands should probably be called islets, as it's not more than a top of a coral island sticking out of the sea, so swimming around them is a great thing to do and should be done as peaceful and quiet as possible...

Koh Chang speedboats offer both group tours as well as private snorkeling trips. We have an extensive range of speed boats that are designed to get you to the snorkeling site quickly with a maximum of comfort, allowing us to cover more of the out of the way corals before the bigger boats get there. During the high season, from the middle of October until the end of May, we organize the following daily snorkel trips.

The half day snorkel trip includes:

• speedboat transfer from our Kai Bae Hut pier or many other pick up locations on the island to the Koh Yuak beach. There are many resorts from where we can pick you up at the beach, so please feel free to inquiry if such a pickup is available for you.
• use of mask, snorkel and life jacket (if required)
• All taxes and service charge (no hidden extra's)

The Full day snorkel trips includes:

• speedboat transfer from our Kai Bae Hut pier or many other pick up locations on the island. There are many resorts from where we can pick you up at the beach, so please free to ask for such a pickup. If there is no nearby pickup point, we will send one of our Song Theaw to pick up the passengers from the resort or hotel.
• use of mask, snorkel and life jacket
• Tasty fried rice and fresh fruit Lunch and bottled drinking water
• All taxes and service charge (no hidden extra's)
• UPDATE: Above rate does NOT include 200 baht / adult and 100 baht / child "entry" fee for the Koh Rang area!
